Welcome!

Welcome!

Welcome to the new dressed.so blog! We’re excited to get the blog started, so here are a few of our goals:

Increase awareness of dressed.so as a fashion community

While we are excited about the community already thriving on d.so, we hope to use the blog to encourage new users to sign up and participate in dressed.so. We want the community to grow both extrinsically and intrinsically, and this blog is one of our projects to that end.

Share new site features with you

When we roll out a new feature, we want to make sure you know about it and know how it works. We don’t want new features to cause confusion or concern, and we want you to be able to use the site without issue. Any feedback on new features or any bugs that you’re experiencing should be sent to feedback@dressed.so.

Discuss ideas that this community cares about

D.so users are diverse and engaged with fashion on many levels. With this in mind, the blog will be multi-faceted without being watered down. We’ll post inspiration for wearing specific items, discussions of wardrobe philosophies, histories of items and styles, information on different fabrics types, construction techniques, and other small details, and whatever else we think is worth sharing.

Spotlight members of the community

We also want to keep an emphasis on the community and bring attention to members who have exciting styles and perspectives. We already have in the works interviews with prominent users, and guest blog posts written by members. We’ll also be showcasing good fits and finding other ways to build the d.so community.

If you’d like to write a blog post, contact arb@dressed.so and/or robin@dressed.so with the topic and a rough outline of the post. (All guest bloggers will be required to sign a participation agreement.)

We hope you’ll read along, and keep in touch via the comments.
